Really Disney.. Again??

In the news .. Disney set to raise prices yet again. This means its even farther out of reach for someone with a family of my size. With the economy rollercoaster that we've all been recruited to ride, why would they do this? I can't blame anyone for wanting to make a buck. However, They do this not because Disney is strapped for cash, but because they know we will pay. We will pay the increase to escape our world!

Mary, Mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow? From experience, I can tell you not very well in this day and age! Prices are up, income is down, jobs are scarce and depression is running rampant.

Everyday it's getting more and more difficult to place food on the table, and there's no help available. No silver bells or cockle shells planted neatly on my end. I think I need a modern day Robin Hood to come rescue me from an ill fate.

Oh, how I long to recall the days when a nursery rhyme or an enchanted story would take me away to far away places and magically make me forget my worries. By the time I would return from Neverland my troubles were over. Now, where are you Peter?

Divorce .. very unsettling

I never thought I'd end up here. It never crossed my mind. I went from having complete stability to no stability overnight. My bank account was emptied and "his" hard earned money depleted out of spite and hatred towards the only person who made sure that there was always money to fall back on. After all, we have 5 children to think about. His parents have gotten him a lawyer, helping him as parents should. However, I kept so much hidden from the world during my 8 year marriage that no one knows what went on in my home unless, you were a fly on the wall. The arguing over his drinking just became too much for me to deal with. My babies are first and foremost. Now, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to buy even food for them. The bills are gong unpaid and I now find out he is suing for custody because I have no money. Are you kidding me? I pray for some miracle every night when I go to sleep and every day when my eyes first see the light. God will answer when its time I know. But, how will I feed, clothe, and keep a roof over their heads until then? I went from 40 hours a week at work to 3 because of the economy. That resulted in an insulting $24 check to last two weeks. I am posting donation button to the right. If anyone can or would like to help me , I thank you in advance. I don't know what else to do. My resume is out there and I've sent it to everywhere I could think of. My heart is breaking not for myself but again, for my kids. They don't deserve this. I am so ashamed.

My Friend...My Blog

I was peeking in and out, searching cross the way.
When I ran into a familiar face, a friend from yesterday.
He was looking rather haggered nothing touched, so much unchanged.
You could tell by just a glance he needed love and rearranged.
The thoughts were rolling in, as it had been quite awhile.
And, as I sat the came rolling in and made me start to smile.
Life had got ahead of me, and caused me to forget
the fun I had just talking to my friend here on the net.
I began to laugh at the past as he slowly brought to mind.
All the things that I once thought about, the things I had left behind.
It was obvious how I moved on and how I'd surely grown.
Yet, when I met my friend, 'my blog' again... I knew that I was home.
